The Road Back Home I look up beyond the clouds tonight, See the stars are up and shining, The North Star's looking so clear and bright, It'll help me see when it's blinding, I'm on the path to meet my maker, This road's looking so dull and broke, I'll write on tiny scraps of paper, While blowing tiny puffs of smoke, The road back home ain't an easy one, But it's the one I've gotta take, No the road home ain't easily won, But it's the best for my own sake, I don't yet know how long it has been, It feels like an eternity, And it feels like the ice got too thin, But I hope it still feels like home inside, And I hope you'll let me back in, Hello all, after a longer than expected haitus, I'm back here.
