High School CHAPTER 7 REASSURANCE After a few days of hiding from the pupils, Jack decided to go to the tree den as it was the only safe place to go. Only that he didn't know AJ was waiting in one of the dark corners, out of sight and that when he walk inside AJ would close in on him; making him feel uncomfortable. " Don't worry, your secret's safe with me." AJ kept on reassuring as Jack sat in the darkest corner, head in his hands. Jack kept this cycle going until he couldn't bear hearing AJ say that his secret was safe. One night, he approached his mum tentatively and asked what to do; which was meant to be a last resort. " Mum." " Yes sweetie." " Well I like this girl in school..." " Ooh! What's her name?" " That's not important! I tried to kiss her the teachers came in our way and mucked things up!!!"
