High School CHAPTER 9 JEALOUSY Jack stood there, the awkward moment in the library had caused both children to blush madly. Diamond ran off, embarrassed. Jack couldn't stop thinking about the kiss all afternoon, even when he was at home he couldn't stop thinking about it. When he was eating tea he stared dreamily into a corner; the expression on his mums face was the is-my-son-okay-or-should-I-be-worried face and all through tea she put that face on. The next day Jack went to the park, as it was a Saturday. Diamond was there as well but Jack didn't notice. Diamond tripped and fell on some foreign boy, their faces met and it looked like they were kissing. Jack then saw Diamond and anger and jealousy coursed through his body. High School CHAPTER 8 FIRST KISS Jack went back to school, fresh and ready for a new start; although he was nervous about the fact that he could meet Diamond. Everyone seemed to have forgotten the incident and the video of the incident, which was on the featured page, now was the most unpopular video of all time. Jack enjoyed his day at school because most of the time he did tasks in a relaxed manner. At lunch he went to the library, where there was no one, except for the librarian, so Jack decided to research for his homework. As he tried to take the book on history, the book was pushed back in. Back and forth the book went until Jack used all his strength to pull it out. Diamond was trying to take the book from the other side. Jack walked around to see why the book was being pulled the other way. He saw Diamond and at once, their eyes met. Slowly they leant forward until their lips touched and gently they were pulled towards each other. Both of them had the fantasy of finding their true love and kissing them. It was like they were meant for each other. As they pulled apart Jack blushed wildly and his head was steaming hot meanwhile Diamond was rosé red which made her freckles stand out greatly. They librarian stood there, mouth open but Jack and Diamond were too busy too notice. To be continued...
High School CHAPTER 7 REASSURANCE After a few days of hiding from the pupils, Jack decided to go to the tree den as it was the only safe place to go. Only that he didn't know AJ was waiting in one of the dark corners, out of sight and that when he walk inside AJ would close in on him; making him feel uncomfortable. " Don't worry, your secret's safe with me." AJ kept on reassuring as Jack sat in the darkest corner, head in his hands. Jack kept this cycle going until he couldn't bear hearing AJ say that his secret was safe. One night, he approached his mum tentatively and asked what to do; which was meant to be a last resort. " Mum." " Yes sweetie." " Well I like this girl in school..." " Ooh! What's her name?" " That's not important! I tried to kiss her the teachers came in our way and mucked things up!!!" " Okay, just calm down. Whenever someone makes fun of you, don't react." " Okay, thanks for the advice!" After that, they giggled and played a few board games before going to bed. To be continued...
