The Sun Goes Down Bright colors lit up the sky as the sun set on the horizon. Pinks, yellows, oranges and reds were blurred together like oil colors on a sky blue canvas. White clouds decorated the sky in huge puffs of cotton candy. Trees looked as if their branches were limbs, reaching for the never ending sky. Twisted branches blocked some of the view of the sunset, only adding a dark and eerie look to the picture. As the sun set, stained glass eyes looked above from the roof. Sitting crossed legged in ripped up jeans and a white over sized t-shirt sat a young girl. A soft wind blew a few strands if bronze hair away from her face. Hazel orbs reflected the landscape, yet the picture didn't describe the way she felt. A deep, dark void filled her heart to the brink. This was her escape though, the only bit of happiness she found was at sunset. For it was the little bit of light that was seen in the dark abyss of sadness. The temporary feeling of comfort before the demons took over. Once the sun disappeared, so did all the hope she ever had of being okay.
