Major Search Chapter 5 - The Visitor The three children sat on an old, rotten log. It was getting dark, and they had travelled a long distance, by now, their mother would've realised that they had gone. The three sat there, shivering violently. Annie piped up, " We need to find shelter for tonight, or we'll freeze to death!" They were wandering through a small, deserted village. The children came across an abandoned barn. The three children crept in, being very careful so that they wouldn't get caught sneaking around. They started picking up some hay and placing it up in the hay loft to create a comfortable bed for the night. They started to settle down for the night.
