Martin Stokes: My Guide To Sort Your #life Out Introduction My name is Martin James Stokes born on the 28th January 2014 to a 'Ginger' Irish man and a beautiful Filipina. I have three wonderful unique brothers, for if it weren't for them I would be the "Man" I am today. My father had me and my brothers quite late, infant my father had my youngest brother at the age of 66. My childhood consisted of hand-me-downs from the family and socks for birthday presents. Always had a birthday party full of my favourite food as this was the Filipino way. My father couldn't work due to disabilities and my mother didn't have the experience and was limited on work due to medical problems. So you can imagine living in a lower class household with bare minimal income it wasn't the childhood you would want your children to grow up in. But, there is a but. We didn't let money get our family down every year or two my parents would save from what they could to bless us with several breaks from 2 to 3 months in the Philippines (home). Going to school I would have classed myself as an outcast wearing 4 stripes Adidas trainers and a lot of hand-me-down clothes. This does not kick start anyone's self-esteem
