An Eternity Of Illusions I walked miles, I probably went weeks… Weeks in this deserted, vast land. My thirst grew greater with every step. And with every passing minute, My mind would play me. Making every second feel like an eternity. An eternity without you, A lonely and sour eternity, A torturous but slow eternity. Illusions… Began to perturb my mind. Defenseless and under a false illusion, I saw it. I did not know wether or not to believe it. Was I under a false illusion, Or were my eyes being sincere with me? I did not hesitate to think it through. And I ran… I ran towards the river of rushing water. And as I drank the water, I felt renewed. I'd never tasted water so fresh and sweet. I should of thought about it twice. See the water was sweet because it was disguised. Just like your worse demons can appear to be your angels, I was terribly fooled. And as #life was slowly leaving my body, I realized you had just been a terrible mistake, One that I should of seen coming. But in this illusion that lasted an eternity… You were victorious. Smiling as I laid poisoned on the floor. With a gloomy end… And a fallen angel. And still I will forever be yours. -Amzy August 14, 2014
