EXAMS OF DOOM Hey! So, it's the summer holidays now and recently I've been looking back on my exams. Because I'm not in Year 11/11th Grade I haven't done my final exams (GCSEs we call them in England) but my school does to end of year ones. We do two-maths and English. I did very well in my English! I was predicted a level 7 and that's what I got! In maths... Not so well. For my maths, I was predicted a level 6 and was determined to get at least a high level 5. I'd revised and revised, jotted down notes, learnt those notes, put notes on my laptop and flicked through all 3 of my maths books. I was praying that at least the area or circumference of a circle would come up because I'm not too bad at those. And did they come up? Of course not. It was a load of crap about equations and fractions. I may be young, but I'm pretty sure I will never need to figure out 'if there are n sweets in a bag and Jane buys 2 bags how many sweets does she have?' I will never come across such a problem. Also, to the so called 'help' they give you on the front cover (formulas I might need etc.) you are in no way helpful whatsoever. So what level did I escape with? Definitely not a 6... I got a level 4. *sighs* Though that is probably due to the fact that I spent half an hour on the first 3 questions... HEY, THEY WERE VERY TRICKY QUESTIONS!
