Wishing To Never Feel "I wish can never feel" she said looking in the mirror. Her reflection shattered like her heart. Eyes flooded with emotion and self loathing. Mind disgusted of what it's seeing. She then smashes the mirror again with her fist this time the glass slowly crashes into the sink. She sees blood on the glass and suddenly feels the warmness of the rushing blood gushing out of her wrist. She stares mesmerised at the rich colour and slowly the sadness and worry started to fade away. She felt a sudden burst of happiness which she hasn't felt for a long time. It reminded her when she was little playing in endless meadows of tiny yellow and blue flowers that reflected the suns raise shimmering in the blue sky. Warm breeze skips between the meadow releasing the smell of spring. The rare rush of wind blends with the light chirps of passing birds. It's starting to go dark and all the feeling left was gone. She got what she wished for but yet she wasn't at piece. Feeling this burst of happiness reminded her that she still wanted to feel. Feel love, joy, happiness and all the great feeling there is. She was so stuck finding bad things in every situation to the point that her heart went cold. She suddenly woke up in a bright white room in a bed. Her mothers face filled with glee that she was still alive. She was alive! She embraced her mother feeling her warm embrace. It was time for her to change to be better to enjoy what she has. Not everyone is given a second chance like she did.
