Thy Fairy Tale Setting: During a time where there was war against not only between humans, but also with the "Beings" of which were somewhat human but are mixed with a different kind of creature like in mythology or fantasies. Main Character: #lifeaya Satou Personality of MC (Main Character): She is very quiet around most, she is a talented scythe wielder and is undefeated so far at the Weapons and Combat Academy. But being very detached she has the tendency to act tough and not let anyone go past the barrier she holds in her heart. She has experienced at a young age, "Beings", having killed her parents when all her parents did was do their best to give her a future. She wishes to one day end the #life of the "Being" that ended her parent's lives and from there figure out what's left to save. Chapter 1: Odd encounter I watch the dreadful color of the sun's beams enter my windowsill, knowing it was just another day where the "Beings" have control over our lives as we live in fear of dying by their hands. I sat up from my bed wanting more than anything to find the soulful reason my parents are not with me. But I reminded myself that I won't get anywhere from being rash about these decisions. "#lifeaya Satou, report to Alpha Combat Class 7, immediately," my teacher; Mr. Hynishiro, yelled through my holocom. "Roger..." I said cooly with no emotion in my voice Having gotten dressed in my school uniform, I headed straight for the Alpha Combat Class in building two. I have been here long enough that I've memorized the basic structure of the hallways and stairways in this building, that I ended up at Room 7 with my eyes watching only my feet. "#lifeaya Satou, from Alpha Combat Room 1, at your service," I said with the Academy's; right fist over heart, salute. "Welcome my dear, come in," he gestures me to come in. "What might my sir ask me here for?" Clearly not interested right now. "Don't sound so mean, as a girl you should be a bit sweeter," He chuckles. I only glared at him for a second and he backed off, "Don't make fun of me, sir, I'm here cause you requested my presence, sir." He sighed, "Alright, well Ms. #lifeaya, we recently got reports that some of the "Beings" are closing in on a far off base in the southern region of Altois Manvue. You and three other members from Alpha Combat Room 1 will be accompanying you as you take care of this endeavor," He turns to a door that just opened from another room, "Come in." The people that just walked in are other members of my class, two guys and one of the most emotionally fragile girls. The tallest one is Levin Rasville, he is a total nerd when it comes to anime. He even looks very similar to Levi in Attack in Titan.... Just less menacing. The other guy is Endgar Dims, he is the most popular in class due to he exaggerated looks. I practically hate him... Then there's the girl, she's Misanti Dinves. She is very emotionally fragile cause of almost being killed by the "Beings" when she was younger. Her father died saving her in the process and her mother is mentally ill. I pity her a bit, but my demons inside my heart are much more scarring.... At least she has someone, I basically had no one. "Anyways," he continued, "They are your teammates and Mr. Rasville will be leading the group." "Understood," it bugged me a bit that he didn't make me team leader in this mission but I try to keep that hidden. "Alright, any other questions?" He looks to the three. Endgar raised his hand,"Did you pick Rasville as leader because Ms. #lifeaya is incapable of the job, sir." "Watch your tongue, Endgar, right now isn't the time to bring foolishness into the matter," sternly telling him off. "As she says, Mr. Dims. Now get moving." He said dismissing us and we all salute. I was the first to leave and to grab my gear, sure I was mostly prepared to fight, but this was my first official job for the Regiments. I was normally taking smaller jobs as in defending from closer to home. That was typical, but today I finally get to go past my boundaries. We set forth on horseback with weapons ready, "Beings" were normally pretty easy to spot but since they are very similar to human it can be very tricky. Over the past years of this war, they've learned to hide and pounce at us quietly until they get really close. It's very problematic since our job to protect the innocence is our first priority. I haven't had too much difficulty in the past with minorities of "Beings" but that could change any day. We travelled at a very fast pace and arrived about two hours later to see that the "Beings" already caused some of the people to lose their #life. "Crap, they've already started chaos," Levin exclaimed, "Everyone, let's leave the horses here and go on foot, have weapons ready still." He continued. We come to a full stop and leaving the horses there. Being well trained they know not to move too far from where we left them until we for 'em. "Let's split into two groups, #lifeaya you're with me and you two can go over on that half of the base," Levin says as he points out what we are to do. I start walking away with Levin and unfold my scythe. We continued walking until we see a person walking about like nothing's wrong. "Ma'am or Sir," Levin yelled out, "May we ask you some things?!" We could naturally feel a "Being" when were near one but we try to seem normal for a bit and question for every spec of detail we could grab. We walked over and the person seems to have panicked 'cause he started looking around bewildered as if looking for somewhere to hide. "Fuck this!" It was a mans voice and then I noticed he ran for an alleyway when we started to get really close. "I'll get him..." I said before dashing off to the alley. He was just ahead of me by a couple feet and the more he ran the closer I got due to him getting tired. "You better hope to stop, or else." I said still running after him. He chuckled, "Stupid Regiment, I lead you into my kind of environment!" He turned and stopped running then transformed into a beast made of the materials around him. I cursed under my breath and jumped towards him to attack before he transformed completely. But as I was going to another "Being" pushed me back. It was of similar features as the one that was transforming but the coloring variations made it so you could tell them apart. "Damn, now this is more exciting, two against one." I smirked. Making haste, I made the other end of my scythe also have a blade to make it double ended. "This might hurt.... Hmmm... A lot." Jumps and bounces off the walls quickly. My speed was ridiculous according to my peers as if I could beat a cheetah, but in my opinion you need to be quick to get clean kills. I spin crazily and get a clean cut at one of the "Being's" throat at a fast speed. As I land on the floor, the blood of the "Being" that I had just killed, had begun to somewhat spill on me. "Do you want to comply now?" I say as I lick off the blood from my scythe. Levin came up from behind me and was out of breath,"D-don't run off like t-that..." "Well this one seems to have gotten shocked into submission, he'll speak now." I say calmly. "P-please.... S-spare me...!!!" He cried. "Then give us some answers," Levin said sternly to the "Being's" rock-like form. "Who had begun this endeavor? What were you trying to accomplish? If you were trying to find something or someone who or what and why?" Levin bombarded the man with questions all at once. "T-the guy that started it was one of our wild companions... We have no idea what he wanted to do, but most likely to just cause commotion to the humane society... If I were him I would think he would be trying to get a hold of something to make the war even worse. T-that's all..." He said shakily as I memorized every word as best to my ability. To think he would share that makes me think that there's something watching us.... I look up and there was a shadowy figure looking down on us. He noticed my gaze and started to make his disappearance. "There's someone else that was here!" I said as I jumped up high to the roof and saw the figure running. "Stop where you are!!!" I yelled as I chase him jumping many roofs to catch up, scythe ready. The guy turned on a sharp corner and dropped from the roof tops and I would've lost him if he wasn't just waiting for me at the bottom. Jumping down I swung my scythe, but he caught hold of it and held me there. "Tch... What an annoyance, though I must say you have quite the vengeful face," he says chuckling. My impulses made me go a bit wild, "Shut up, you piece of shit!!!" "Hoohohohoh feisty one. Now I wonder if you enjoy being toyed....." He snickered. Putting more pressure into my scythe I cut through his hand. "You watch your tongue you bastardized "Being," you don't deserve to give me crap!!!" I could barely feel the burning of my glare, though I'm unsure if it gave the right message. "Humph, never met a human whose eyes glow a different color," he said mysteriously,"Are you sure you're human?"" "Of course I am!!!" I yelled as I swung my scythe at him again. Swinging faster each time. "With a speed like this it's hard to believe that you're human, not one human could ever get this close to landing a blow on me," he says as he continues to block my assault. "Like I give a damn about what you a "Being" says about me!!!" I as screamed as I continued to swing away at him. As he blocked my scythe with one hand, I attempted to punch his face. When I was close to hitting him he blocked with his hand then our hands began to glow intensely. "W-what?!" I said confused before the white flare had thrown my body through a wall and leaving me breathless. My head was turned enough to see that the guy I was fighting was in no better shape than I was. He was sprawled on the floor and barely breathing from what i could see through the ruble around me. My arms were crushed but not broken, various sized rocks had littered themselves on top of me, and my legs were the only thing untouched but the mess. The wall was now gone and the building had seemed on the verge of collapsing, as if telling me that this is your grave. As time slowly passed, the building started creaking loudly and having heard that noise a lot during my time as a recruit, I knew it was going to fall in a matter of seconds. "#lifeaya!!!" Yelled a familiar voice, "Where are you?!" Realizing it was Levin I yelled, "O-over here!!!" Though me voice was extremely raspy. My body ached and my back I could swear is broken but that would be childish. The guys had started to flip over his own body, but with much struggle he groaned. I hate to say this but this is the only thing anything would have in common in my view. Pain is the same for everyone, and I can't say otherwise. The building kept creaking and screeching as the seconds kept ticking,"Hurry up you ass!!!" I screamed, hoping he would hear me. But as I became more aware of what's going on I noticed, not only was I stuck, but I was also losing a whole lot of blood and quickly. My world had started to spin and become blurry. The only thing I could hear was a faint ringing and I could only make out varieties of colors with my eyes before I could no longer make a difference between up or down. I had blacked out. In my conscience, I was floating through a series of the past. I continued down that train of thought till it came to a halt at a certain event that I can never shake off; my parents death. Though it seems a bit different than before, like there is something more to it than I can remember. But if there was then why can't I remember it? Trying to push my mind to remember I was forced in, yet everything I tried seems to show that something or someone is blurred out of my memories. Just when I thought I could've figured out what the blur was I suddenly jolted awake in the infirmary back in the Academy. "W-what...." I tried saying through a extremely dry throat. "Don't try moving you're still in quite the condition," a concerned voice said next to me. I looked to my right to find Levin and Mr. Hynishiro watching me with worried faces. "What happened to the "Being" that I had fought earlier?" I was obviously ticked over the whole endeavor I had to go through. This is the first time I had gone against a "Being" of his ability. "We have him in captivity and it seems he's the one who started the who started the whole destruction of the base," my teacher informed me. Nodding, my curiosity kicks into action and I wanted to know more of this "Being's" goals and intentions. "Mr. Hynishiro, once I recover I will take the role of interrogating the "Being" if you would so much as allow me," I announced with confidence. The pair look at each other considering what I had said and by the looks of it they might've declined, but I wouldn't go down that easily if they did. Plus even if the lowly "Being" tried to do anything funny I could always just kill him. I don't have a problem in doing so, I have my goals to accomplish and things to give to my parents, in honor of their sacrifice. With a sigh Levin answered,"Alright, but try not to go too rough on 'em, we need as much information as we can pull out of this." "Yes sir," I said as I nodded off to sleep.
