My Mind. Conflicted minds and confused thoughts, lead down a road of uncertainty and fear. As the lamb struggles to decide whether to creep past the dragons den to get home, or whether it will wait until the morrow to cross the bridge back; whilst at the same time being stalked by a sadistic figure, yowling for it's clan to join in on the kill. Nobody really knows what will happen. People are more uncertain on the facts of their own lives than those of others. As daylight died yesterday I reflected. As daylight dies on tomorrow I shall reflect, and as daylight died today I reflected. I reflected on the good I witnessed during the day. On the nobility of gentlemen that hold doors open for hurried guests, and on the way in which the car in front of me allowed a mother of 5 to cross the road in the lunch time gridlock. But I also reflected on the bad. The bad omens. The bad markings. The bad fates woven by the nirns in the sky. As a brutish store owner openly sacks his employees, the leafs of hope that clung to her branches out arms fell, she fell with them. She fell faster than I've seen anything fall before. Like looking upon a great warrior, slain only by their demons of a past #life. No longer seen as a hero by the world; for all the confusion around it. But there isn't any need for the confusion. Really. Frank can shoot daisy with a 12 gauge shotgun, but if the world didn't know about it, Frank would still be the loved party animal that he is. Perception makes the world go round. No money makes the world go round. Why does it? Cause it buys happiness. Maybe some perceive money that way. But not everybody. Those people are the men who hold the door open. They are the drivers of their car who let the struggling mother cross the road. They are our hope. They are our future. As to me. Well, who else is more better to judge where I should be other than the wonderful society we live in?
