He looks through the lens of the magnifying glass. He examines the specimen every closely. It is a lock of long blonde hair. Probably female. He snaps a quick photograph for evidence and carefully uses his gloved hand to remove it from the blood-spattered carpet. He turns his flashlight on and searches the rest of the living room. It appears there is no more evidence to collect. But he knows better. This is one of a million cases he is sure he will win. He looks through some drawers and cabinets. Nothing. He goes back to the living room where he found the hair near the sofa. Still just a bunch of blood spots. He scans his flashlight along the couch and sees a glistening object sticking out from under the corner of the first cushion. He snaps a picture. Then he proceeds to remove the object. It is a bloody, heart-shaped locket. That's all for now! I'll have more later
