Eastertide It's a very special time of year A time of year called Eastertide So, my friends, come near, It's the time of year when to save us all from our sin Jesus died. Then on Easter Sunday he rose from the dead He left no trace in his stony bed He went to his disciples and he took them by surprise, But he is the son of God, death is not his demise. People say Easter is a time for chocolate and the Easter bunny While I think that's good and funny Remember the true story Jesus died to prevent humanity's downfall It may be a bit gory But from our sin he saved us all
