First Day : Narrated The first day at EAH felt almost stiff, Cupid could recall his exact words in her mind, "Chariclo, there's been reports of a school divided; Rebels who want their own destinies, as well as Royals who are content with what they are destined for. These two are opposites and hardly get along. It's a crime to be seen with the other side in more than just an acquaintence kind of way. When you get there, you will feel stiff, and you will be uncomfortable. You may notice how the school's headmaster is strictly on the side of the Royals, how he will turn down any idea of an opportunity that will allow the Rebels to gain power of any kind." The words echoed in her head as if they were in writing format. They made her wonder what she'd be considered when she got to know everyone there if she believed in the Rebel's cause, but followed in her new father's footsteps. Now, she would know, because she was on the campus grounds, staring down the two "head of the teams." She knew their names as well as she knew her own; Apple White, daughter of Snow White, queen bee of the Royals. Raven Queen, daughter of The Evil Queen, the girl who turned down her evil destiny to be good. Cupid was not ready to talk to them yet. No, she was only in this for the match-making; her most favorite part. She could hear what the Royals would have to say about it in her mind, "You've barely even dated, yet here you stand giving out love advice." Chills ran down her spine. "This school is for a new group of legends, surely they'd be okay with it if they know who my father is, but then again, we're not even blood related!" She thought, letting her thoughts gallop like a herd of stallions across her mind. Then she remembered, for the second time, why she was here in the first place; to ease the stiffness. Cupid matched as she went in, barely even thinking about the pairs, instead just matching up the people sitting across from each other. It was soothing in a way. Suddenly, "Madeline Hatter, nice to be your acquaintence," the bouncy girl was shaking Cupid's hand so strongly and quickly, that Cupid had to hold onto her arm. Analysis time! Madeline Hatter, daughter of the Mad Hatter. Her bouncy attitude reminded her of Pinky Pie® from My Little Pony™. Her hair was poofed to the sides, yet her curls were not as tight as you'd picture. They were more wavy then curly, so it was probably just static. The colors were gorgeous, especially next to each other; a mop of teal hair with two stripes of dark purple on each side of her head to frame her face. She wore an attractive, colorful knee-length dress that poofed at the sides (like her hair) along with a hat hanging off the side of her head. Madeline was a hot mess. In that moment, Madeline's watch threw itself off her wrist, causing Madeline to gasp and yell, "TEA TIME!" Cupid closed her eyes. When she re-opened them, Madeline Hatter had somehow gotten Raven Queen to sit across from her and join her in her gulping of tea. Literally, gulping. She chugged down tea faster than the teapot could pour. Not to mention, she was so caught up in drinking her tea, that she didn't realize that the tea pot was pouring tea onto the floor instead of in Raven's cup. Cupid made a mental note to steer clear of weirdos like Madeline. Madeline finished her tea and whispered in Cupid's ear, "Did you meet Apple White yet?" Cupid shook her head no. Madeline spit her tea all over Raven's gorgeous, pale, sculpted face. Raven fumed. "Shoo, shoo!" Madeline called out randomly as soon as Raven starting throwing a tantrum about how hot her face felt. Madeline never told her whether or not it was a good idea to shake Apple White's hand. -------------- Writing the second chapter right now! Spoiler alert: Cupid's gonna go meet Apple
