Strange Creatures Direwolves, otherwise known as canus dirus, are among the strangest creatures to walk the earth. We are predators, born to hunt and kill. We do not distinguish between what we hunt and what gets in our way. Anything that threatens us had better be able to run fast or climb trees. We aren't always killers, despite popular belief. We find one person who we immediately make an unbreakable bond with. I bonded with Arya. Lady with Sansa. Grey Wind with Robb. Summer with Bran. Shaggy with Rickon. Ghost with Jon. Even though Robb and Grey Wind are dead, the bond is still there. It is still unbroken. It'll always be that way. It's the same for Sansa and Lady. Lady is dead, but the connection is still there. It is actually stronger than ever before. I don't know where Arya is, but I feel her love reaching me long distance. I hope she feels mine too. We direwolves are extraordinary animals. We are definitely out of the ordinary and somewhat paranormal. We're ten times the size of our cousins, the normal wolves. We do not hurt everyone. Only people who pose a threat to us.
