As the clock ticked towards noon the cube of chocolate that sat on the saucer melted. The tea from the ornamental teacup had long since been drunk. I was enjoying the relaxed atmosphere of the resort after the excitement of the storm two days earlier, it had initially put a damper on the beginning of our holiday however it brought unexpected excitement. The changing current off the coast of the island had resulted in a visit from a huge sea turtle. He encouraged the photographers to rush for their cameras while the rest of us kept a respectful distance and enjoyed watching him take a rest on the warm sand.
