Consumerism At school there're all these girls that go around like "Look what new jewellery & clothes I've today!", their daddy pays yay, and they look down their nose on everyone who dares to wear the same clothes two days in a row. They don't give a thought to who made their clothing or plastic jewellery (apparently some kids a lot younger than them in some developing country is the most possible answer). Well do I either? No, not really. But I don't feel the need to get myself any sort of status with this clothing. I use it to dress up myself, that's it. I really can't help the fact that all the regular clothes are made in developing countries and that I don't have enough money to buy ones of which's origin I'd be 100% sure of. And no, I've nothing against looking nice, I like pretty girls & guys. But if you brag with your clothing, if you buy as much as you can just because you can, just to prove others you're wealthy - even if it wasn't your money you're spending - then that is just, how should i say it ...gross. note: This is an opinion only and not to bee taken too seriously. This is also old piece so I haven't done a 100% check. This might be my last post with this account. I got another one, you may come across it but I try not to advertise it since... I don't want it connected to these writings or like that... I want to experiment with my texts more and so on, and I don't feel like I could do it with this half-dead account. I won't remove this account and I'll use this every now and then. This is on my old 2gen iPod Touch however and it barely works anymore... I'll try to turn it into a writing device anyway if possible. Thank you for everything all, you're all such sweethearts! x
