Innocence A baby gurgling in happiness, A puppy dozing into a dreamy sleep, A little kitten playing solo, These are such things as innocence, But then the baby grows up, The puppy grows to be a dog, The kitten is a kitten no more, Gradually that innocence slips away, Into nothingness.
