The Journey #TheJourney Chapter Twenty Five: Showing the Guys. The guys stood there dumbfounded after I showed them who was in the crystal ball. This room was made in cobble stone, cobblestone floors and walls. It was made to look like a dungeon, apparently. In the middle of this cobblestone room was a wooden table with several wooden chairs around it. In front of the table was a podium. In the middle of the table was the crystal ball. The crystal ball didn’t look like the plasma balls, from old age. They looked like a simple ball made of glass, not plastic. I suppose you would have seen ceramic things inside this glass ball that would have made it a ceramic art piece. “Isn’t she supposed to be . . . ?” Randy paused, “Well, y’know, dead?” He finished. “Hey! Don’t talk about me as if I’m not right in front of you! I will break out of here and whip you, boy!” she said and started cackling. Randy made an involuntary face and walked back a little. “She uh . . . She can’t do that can she?” Randy whispered to Hailey. “It would cause her spirit to go back to heaven, but I’m sure she could get to you and teach you a thing or two before so.” Hailey chuckled back to him. “She is dead. The person, or rather spirit, you see inside that crystal ball is Emilia’s spirit.” I said. “Emilia is here to . . .” Hailey paused, “You know what, Emilia you can speak for yourself.” Hailey finished. “It’s about time someone recognized that I can speak for myself!” Emilia beamed. “I did die. I am dead. I trapped my soul into this crystal ball because I knew Kayla would find me and show the rest of the people. These hallways lead to a secret entrance to every single room. I forced my soul into this crystal ball so I could help you. I am your spirit guide.” Emilia paused, waiting for any questions or objections. The room was silent. “Before I died, before you met your soul mates I was the only person with powers. Now as a spirit I have powers. I can get by with this and Hailey and Kayla’s prophecy stating that they’re the only people with powers because I am not a person. I am a spirit.” She said. “Now, Hailey and Kayla wanted me to tell you something about them.” She paused letting them take that in. Billy looked at me and Randy looked at Hailey. “Kayla, what’s wrong? Why would you have to find some spirit to tell me something?” Billy asked. “Just let her speak, she’ll tell you and then you’ll understand.” I said to both Billy and Randy. “You need to know that everything that happens is supposed to happen. Everything is a part of their prophecy.” Emilia paused, yet again. “Go on with it!” Randy said impatiently. “Kayla and Hailey were in that ‘accident’ that Ventra was in. Ventra was pushed up against a tree and knocked out. She cracked a rib and had a few minor injuries. However, what put Ventra in the hospital was no accident. Kayla and Hailey were attacked too. Their attacker was a Shifter.” Emilia said. When the guys turned to look at Hailey and me, we were in our shifted forms. “Holy crown!” Randy shouted. “Where’d the girls go? Are they safe?” Billy asked backing up from the animals. I whined at the fact that Billy didn’t know it was me. I lowered my head and looked up to him with my eyes and whined. “Kayla?” Billy asked. “Do you realize that you’re a puma right now?” Billy asked. I slowly walked up to him and rubbed up on his leg like a house cat would, then I purred. Hailey had Randy pinned down and forced him to accept reality. “Hailey, is that really you?” Randy asked. She put a goofy grin on her face and licked his entire face with her big grizzly tongue. “I suppose so. Knowing you, you’d be a sexy grizzly beast.” Randy said. At that Hailey lunged back and fell on her back and kicked her legs up and started making noises like she was laughing. After I watched that scene I crawled under Billy’s legs and stood up to make him sit on me so I could move and give him rides. “Heheheh. You can carry my weight.” Billy said. We spent hours like that, playing around in our forms.
