Chapter 1 She stared out into the mountains. Despite the sunlight and lack of clouds, the cold still penetrated her jacket like tiny ice needles. She felt Ginny pulling on her lead whilst she paused. The corgi eventually looked up at her with big eyes that wanted to carry on walking and eventually she gave in. She'd always liked October. The soft breeze that was almost never present in Switzerland, and the golden brown leaves that covered the paths. She got home and jumped in the shower. Her cold fingers ran shampoo through her hair and the minute it was rinsed out, she jumped out the shower. Her bed was messy but she couldn't be bothered to make it so she grabbed her jeans and her favourite jumper with a panda on it. She then blow dried her hair loosely before throwing it back in a ponytail and pulling on her navy blue glasses. She checked her phone whilst pulling her satchel over her shoulder and raced down to the bus. She grinned when she saw Rach sitting on a seat opposite her sister. "Hi, Scarlett, what's up?"
