Why don't you try to find the answers instead of simply resigning yourself to the stance that "God did it for some mystical reason"?. Help your friends and and family yourself instead of wishing that a non-existent being does it for you. It is much more rewarding and not as mental. Prayer: Doing nothing at all but thinking you are actually helping.

Just because people believe in different things than you doesn't mean you can ruin their faith by commenting that. That is so low. If you love god then pray to god. If you don't keep that to yourself. I'm pretty sure he didn't want to hear that at all from you. So think before you speak. People have faith don't ruin it for them. @blindsilence

@canadiangirl In a time of need would you prefer that someone talks to themselves or would you prefer for that person to actually help?. Why is it that you feel that a god botherer has the right to pronounce their faith to the world but an atheists does not have the right to share their non-belief?. Think before you speak. Your Canadianism is not a valid handicap!.

@blindsilence do you know what I don't like? It's not that your atheist I could careless. But it's you putting people's faith down. What if I went on your page and told you all you need is to pray. Pray things out. Things would be so much easier if you just prayed. People don't just pray and do nothing about it. Some people pray to god to give them strength and guidance to be able to take action. So maybe just maybe you need to think before you speak. What you said was rude and unnecessary. And what you said about being Canadian I didn't get so it doesn't phase me.

I have lots of them on the subject of religion/faith and look forward to anything sensible you have to say on the matters I bring up. What is it exactly that you found rude and unnecessary?. Perhaps you would be kind enough to answer the very simple question that I asked you first time?. I'll ask again incase you 'missed' it. In a time of need when you need help would you prefer someone to pray for help for you or would you prefer that person to actually help?.

@blindsilence why the hell do you care what I do. I happen to enjoy praying and have seen the benefits of it. I'm sorry that you are so blind that you only believe in what you see in front of you. Maybe if this world had a little more faith it would be the way it is. While you are free to express whatever close minded narrow beliefs you want. I ask that you actually respect what someone believes. Sometimes people can't just fix things that easy. I love how you say "not as mental" shows me just the kinda person you are. I will pray for you because you truly need more help then me. I truly wish the world had more people like @canadiangirl to balance out people like you. Her faith and beliefs actually makes the world tolerable when it has ignorant people like you in it

@blindsilence while you are free to express whatever you feel on my comments I do ask that you respect people. Your comments are neither wanted or needed just to bring people down so you can try to bring your life up. I really do feel sorry for people like you. You need more help in this world then one person can give. I hope and pray god watches over you. Someday maybe you will open your eyes and shut your mouth more to see what the world truly has. @cjmartin744 Oh dear. You are of course free to practice whatever you like no matter how ridiculous it is (within reason and the law). I have not at all suggested that you shouldn't pray. I merely pointed out that prayer does not work and merely offered you an alternative solution to your problem. You could have said "Thanks but no thanks Sir" and left it at that but instead you appear to have went on some kind of mental rant. When I say mental I am not referring to any mental illness, just thought I'd make that clear. I would just like to address some points you raised. You said if more people had faith the world wouldn't be the way it is. Faith in what exactly?. God?. Which God is that then?. There are over 3000 of them so far. Those who have 'faith' can't even agree on who the correct God(s) is. So your point is moot until that dilemma has been resolved.

I'll give you a clue... it is not you. Narrow minded much?. You have seriously apparently asked that I actually respect what someone believes. That is an absolutely ridiculous request. No belief is deserving of respect or acceptance. What if it was my religious belief that I was entitled to shoot idiots in the face with rocket launchers?. Your reasoning says that you would have to respect that, right?. What if it was my religious belief that I was entitled to abuse children, you would respect that too, right?. If you say that you would then you truly are a horrendous human being. If you say that you wouldn't respect those beliefs then you my friend clearly would be a hypocrite. While you say that people of faith make the world tolerable, yes some do there is no doubt in that, but quite a lot of those who have faith make the world intolerable. People are severely punished, imprisoned, bullied, stigmatised, brainwashed, murdered, tortured, ostracised, excluded, in the name of faith/religion. The list goes on forever. Someday maybe you will learn to open your eyes more so that you can see what the world truly is like beyond the realms of talking snakes and zombie Jews. Every single prayer for the end to world hunger has not worked. The prayers for world peace have not worked. The prayers to end poverty and disease worked, I'll give you that one. World wide poverty and disease ended last Tuesday... it's just that the African and Indian children who were previously in poverty actually enjoy starving to death and dying from cholera so have continued to do so for the very considerable future. Your prayers for me will not work. Use that time instead for your education, perhaps read a book (preferably one that doesn't have talking animals in it).
