Net Kids I have worked in technology all my #life but I was born in 1960, before the dawn of the Internet. I was one of the people who made the internet what it is today but when I am very old the world will be full of net kids. I will be one of the few people alive who were born before Tim Bernard-Lee clicked a link on the first web page. I will be referred to disdainfully by young people as a pre-netter, someone who a little revoltingly actually lived in a time of no communication, a dark age without tweeting and skypeing and googling. What a bitter pill, having lived my #life believing I was pushing technology forwards, I will be pushed to the sides as an irrelevant fossil, regarded with sad eyes unsuccessfully trying to imagine how I even lived without daily doses of the Internet.

Interesting post! I am older, born in the forties and already am experiencing what you speak of. I am used to being considered knowledgable on many subjects, except technology. It's a strange situation for me, to have to ask advice from young people, I think I like it though. ð
