The Girl & The Giraffe There once was a girl who lived with a giraffe. He was a bit clumsy, but he really made her laugh. He often banged his head as he went out the door, Or tangled up his neck in the curtain; so sore! He was polite and gentle, and let her ride on his back And if she was hungry he got her fruit as a snack. The only big problem she had with her friend Was his horrible snoring which never seemed to end. It sounded like a train coming through a tunnel And the blast from his mouth like a loud ship funnel. At last when the snores woke her three nights on the trot She slipped into his bedroom and tied his neck in a knot!
