2- Prose! That's right people! I'm going to write some prose! Here's the prologue to a story I have started writing. Please let me know in the comments if you'd like me to continue writing. Otherwise, at some point, I'll start lacking the motivation to continue and I'll give up on it. If you like (<3) the Opuss, I'll assume that you want me to continue. Now, without further ado: Prologue Marie looked out on the city's lights and smiled. Everything in her empire was perfect. Her childhood dream was coming true. She couldn't wait for her coronation ceremony. She was a princess! She was married to the handsome prince, and she was the glamorous wife of the King of Daylon's son. She had only dreamed of this until she had bumped into the prince on the street and fallen in love with him. Marie heard the soft swish of the glass door and twirled to see her husband. She smoothed her glossy, pampered hair and looked down at her long, silk dress. She took her husband's hand and together they walked down the grand staircase to the waiting crowd. Marie nodded at the royal guardsmen as she walked past. They bowed. She smiled, then waved at the cheering crowd. The sky was lit up with a million stars. Marie and the prince gazed up at the midnight sky. The ground shook and the sky went totally dark. With a flash, lightening lit up the sky. Somewhere, a small bomb went off, throwing back the crowd. Marie lost her footing on her heels. She screamed to her husband as another explosion threw her into the river rock lining the path. "Get down!” someone yelled. Marie didn't recognize the voice. A stone hit her in the head. The last thing she saw before she died out was her husband's body thrown into the stormy sky. A place guard, wounded badly, used his last moments to move his limp, unconcious body to a sheltered hole in the ruble. A dirty, messy-haired orphan ran from the palace as fast as her twelve-year-old legs would carry her. She and the prince would be the only survivors.
