The Everlasting Part One... "MOM, NO YOU CAN'T LEAVE US!" Serina screamed from the other room, as a tear flowed from her eye down to her nose then off her face to splatter to the floor leaving a trail following close behind. " I have no choice" our mother replied with her own tear starting to form. I was in the attic, which wasn't even an attic, more like a bunk bed because I was trying not to cry myself. I was sixteen the summer it had happened, those days we lived about a quarter mile out from the town Jubutlay, we lived in a little house, it was the size of a shed, and made with red bricks. The type of brick ,monclay, was known for the way it cracks so as you may expect it had cracked. But because of its age it had cracked a lot more than it should. Between each crack, a plant called creeping charlie had been growing in. Making the house look like it was decomposing. The roof was also in pretty bad shape as it was slightly dipped in and had started to cave on the sides. Just by the looks of our house you could tell it was old. The house was on a lot which was no bigger than a small barn. We have never really had money, but we have had no real problems with it before now. We don't need much to be happy, just our little family. We've always stuck together; us and our little house. Except for dad, he left us after my mom lost her job. He didn't want us to "hold him back". But he didn't get far he died about half a year after leaving yet still managed to give us a pocket full of debt. It took ten years of #life spent paying back half a year of his damage. My mom has worked two jobs for about seven years. Lucky Our mom has a heart of gold. She would give us all of her food if we needed it . So for a while she was skin and bones. Even after all the wearing down and hard years she still looked amazing. She was forty-two but she looks more like she's in her mid twentys. She has jet black hair and not a grey hair or wrinkle in sight, dark blue eyes and a nose with a little curve at the end all wrapped up in an oval shaped face; also she has the prettiest smile I have ever seen. Serina takesrr after her in so many ways. She has the same eyes and hair and pretty much hole face, me on the other hand not so much. I have light blonde hair, bright green eyes, and a round nose with freckles and my smile, well, I hate my smile, it reminds me of my dad. I had noticed I zoned out. As I dove back into reality my mom started to shed her first tear and she started to move over to Serina, " I know sweetie I don't want to leave," she grabs her shoulder, looks in her blood shot eyes, and wipes the tear rolling down her nose heading straight for her lips. "believe me I would love to stay. But if I do bad things will happen." Serina ran up the attic stars and sat in my lap. I could tell she didn't want to to talk and I didn't really want to either. I knew if I had said even one thing the tears that I was trying so hard to stop from escaping would start flowing like a waterfall. So I just sat there and put my arm around her tiny shoulders, we sat like this for at least thirty minutes until she started breathing softy. Then I heard her little snores which let me know she had fallen asleep. I started to feel heavy eyed myself and I slowly let myself drift into the clouds. My dreams swept across, the prairie filled with fruit of all sorts from apples to strawberries also fruits like canpantalis which are the sweetest fruit i've ever had. They are about the size of an apple but have an oval shape and texture that makes it look and feel plastic. There color consists of a bright pink with little orange tied in. It is sweeter than the sweetest candy and more amazing then the best cake. it grows about ten hours away from us but it is too expensive for us to buy. There in the field on my right was my favorite flower which I've only seen once in my #life. I don't know the name of it but it grows on a tall stem with blue petals that are all about the size of a spoon and lime green dots that are as thin as a pin. But my favorite part about it was the vibrant red stamen. I knew I was asleep when I saw the littler wooden house. I loved this dream! For some reason I have always been able to control my dreams, everything except the location it took place in. This was my favorite place to be. Every time I've been here he joins me. He is tall and has short blonde hair and blue eyes, he has a narrow face with a strong promanent jaw and a gorgeous smile. He hasi tan skin that's so tan when I stand near him I look as pail as a peice of paper, and I have a pretty good tan myself. The only flaw I have found right now is he doesn't talk. But he teaches me. He shows me stuff I can use in real #life. I don't know how to explain it. I can learn without any words and it works. This time he came out of a little house on the left by the flowers. But it wasn't like most of my dreams, he had a cut about the length of a butter knife and an inch in width across his right arm. It looked like a sword or maybe a big animal mark, I was too far away to tell. All I could tell is he was ulosing a lot of blood and I needed to help. I ran across the field throw the fruit garden so i could assist him. As I got closer I could tell the severity of his wound. I could tell he was in pain, his eyes had lost there sparkle and where not the normal dark blue today they looked more grey. This was the first time I have ever seen him not smiling and he looked older now like the cut had made him age. I asked him if he was alright but still not one sound came out of his mouth. I took the bed sheet and tore off the end iof the red and yellow polka-doted corner. I was so worried that it didn't take much to break a strip of it off and I sat him on the wooden bed and started cleaning out the cut. Every time I got near he cringed in fear of the oncoming pain. The cut was so deep some of his bone was visible every time I soaked up the gushing blood that was seeping out. I got it as clean as I could and grabbed the thin strong vine we normally use for tying fruits or climbing trees. I put it on a thin piece of medal which was the closest thing to a needle that I had, and started to stitching up his arm. I tried not to cry as I watched him tighten his arm at every pull. He was in so much pain. At this point I had had it. This was no animal marking . I was getting mad. I wasn't just mad but i was starting to hate. I looked him in the eye and asked. "who did this to you?" i needed to know I would get my revenge for him, but he just sat there looking at me. He looked almost worried but it wasn't for himself. It was like he was worried for me. I couldn't stand it. I screamed at the top of my lungs "WHO DID THIS TO YOU!" My mind was a blur all my thoughts switching from real #life to my dreams. They are not just dreams to me. There my other #life. I was bawling when THIS IS THE START IF YOU LIKE IT LET ME KNOW!! Ill add more if anyone likes it !!
