The Lives We Live Chapter 2 The Lives We Live I hadn't noticed I had fallen asleep until I felt the minivan come to a stop. I lifted my head off of the passenger window and glanced around. My aunt, Maria, smiled down at me. " Home sweet home. " he said with a happy sigh. Her house had a hectic roll to it. Her and her husband, my uncle Bob, had 6 kids of their own. All of them under my age of 17. Out of the 6 of them I only remembered two. Lisa,16, and Jamie, 14. It had been years since I had seen either of them. My aunt and my mom never talked very much. " We have a spare room you'll be staying in just upstairs to your right." Aunt Maria yelled over the noise of three of her rug rats running through the halls yelling or fighting. I couldn't tell. The room was a good size. A bed and a dresser and two nightstand on either side of the bed were the contents of the room. One window and what I was assuming was a closet door. The view out my window had woods. Orange and red leaves on the ground and all through our the woods as far as I could see. I heard a loud bang on the door and then yelling. " No I was using it give it back! " one voice yelled. " you have to share Newt it's not fair!" A smaller voice. I opened my door and two younger boys tumble over, shutting up when they say me.
