The amulet Chapter 1 Never had Ashley seen something so horrific as that. It still seemed to be chasing her. Her memory had tried to get rid of it. But it just made it more vivid, more... Unusual. She looked back and saw the ribbon of blood that had chased her all the way from the scene. Partridges blood ( her partner, her husband) . She bent down and dipped her index finger in it. It Felt like cushioned ice to her. It looked like a piece of fragile glass ready to brake, but she soon found it would not brake. She thought of this action as invisible. The only things that have ever left her before. We're broken before their departure.
