Blue Hollow Clan Chapter 2 Karliah looked around the communal room, breakfast had just begun and she couldnt see Travis, or any open spot to sit. "Hey! Karliah! Over here!!" Travis' voice was heard behind Karliah. She turned around to see him waving at her pointing to an empty seat next to him. She smiled and took her meal over to her Procorps. "Hey Travis, how are you?" She said squeezing into her seat. "Good, I heard about your Orientation, congrats" he said smiling "H-How do you know about that? I left the House of Elders like 10 minutes ago" she said astonished. Travis chuckled " remember, I'm your Procorps. And, since you are a fighter, you have been assigned a trainer. This is Chris, he is one of the youngest but most esteemed Fighters of his time." Travis leaned back to reveal Chris, a young man with spiky dark brown hair. ~ Flashback ~ Karliah was sprinting towards her escape, lightning boomed above her head. -almost there...- she urged. A dark haired young man got up before the rest and grabbed Karliah "no!" She screamed as he brought her to the ground~ Karliah blinked and growled under her breath "so he's going to be my trainer?" She asked. Travis nodded and looked at Chris, who looked just as excited as Karliah did, just grunted and turned to eat his breakfast. She scoffed and started on her meal. Karliah followed Chris to the Fighters training room. "First lesson: never, ever let your Weak Point be vulnerable. It means certain death in a fight if you are immobilized." Chris said turning to Karliah "Today I'll teach you the beginners techniques" he said and started to show Karliah proper foot work and punches. After a while they started to spar. Karliah was coming along well her fighting skills were precise and accurate. "So, how are you liking the Clan?" He asked her aiming for her Weak Point. Karliah ignored him and rolled to the left, making his hit miss. "Karliah.....hello?" He said slightly irritated. She grunted and kicked him between the legs, "Murderer! This is all your fault!" She screamed at him, her green eyes fierce with rage. "Because of you I'm here and not with my two younger sisters living my real #life!! They'll go on their #life never knowing if I'm dead or captured." She got out of control and started to throw wild punches and slaps, getting close to his Weak Point many times. "H-Hey! Karliah! Stop it, Stop it!" He said raising his hand, ready to strike the sixteen year old. But a firm hand brought his arm down, it was Travis. He grabbed Karliah's arms and put them behind her back, slinging her over his shoulder he took her back to the concrete cell. Chris followed his head hung and never raising. Travis grunted as he put Karliah into her cell "Cool it! Enjoy your evenings entertainment" he spat and slammed the door. "You're all traitors to freedom!" She screamed and banged her fist on the door even though it was futile. Sighing Karliah turned around to see a punching bag and tape for her hands in the right corner of the concrete cell. She blinked but shrugged, wrapping the tape around her fingers then settling herself in front of the bag and started to wail on it wildly, but soon got into a rhythm of techniques she had learned. "5,632...5,633..5,634...5,635..5,636..5,6-" Karliah's counting was cut off from a knock on the door which it proceeded to open and reveal Chris, who was standing to one side of the doorway looking slightly sheepish. Karliah dropped another grain of sand into the hole she had punched in her bag, "5,637" she said never taking her eyes off of Chris. "What do you want?" She said bitterly. Chris rubbed his hands together nervously, "Well....I thought that we..we got off on the wrong foot" he said choosing his words carefully. "Travis pit you up to this huh..." Karliah snorted. Chris sighed and hung his head "yea... Ok, do you want to take a walk outside? You look like you need some fresh air" he said trying to be nice, cracking a smile.
