Dear Arthur Dear Arthur, I didn't mean to walk past the cat. I didn't mean to look the cat in the eye. Honestly, it was as though he was hypnotising me. He doesn't have a home. Or a family. He must have been starving hungry. If you knew I was going to fall in love with the cat, why did you give my food to me? How was I to know the cat wasn't alone? I couldn't se any other cats around. It was only a tiny bit of chicken for a tiny cat. Before long, lots of cats thought that I was a nice person unlike SOME people. It wasn't my fault that people were staring. If you should have chucked anyone out, it should have been the strays. I just gave them a little bit of chicken, and then all my steak. So I ask you, please don't ban me from your place.
