Chaotic Love I stood in the ocean The waves thrashing at my knees Begging me to topple To end a relationship's disease The salt stings my bare skin The sun burns my eyes The waves still Pushing Pushing me aside Then a giant wave of emotion crashes upon me Leaving me tossed about In a terrible flood That takes me to the city I awake on the shore A mouth full of sand And even though I'm filthy I have to find my man That's when I stopped swimming And build our house on dry land
