The Sky Is Emotion As I lay in my bed I listen for the sky, I hear its emotion, I hear it cry. My mind starts to wander I feel the pain, With my thoughts all before me, I can’t see through this rain. Here in the dark the night takes control, My body is resting, my mind and my soul. But when I dream of you without you here, the night becomes black, so lonely with tears. The sound of the rain lulls me to sleep, It wants to see all these thoughts that I keep. How I long for the sun, so bright and so clear, I dream to wake with you, I need you here.
