The Unknown Sea Waking up alone, only to the sound of the sea. Alone, only to see blood all over the main deck. i look down; Blood dripping down my wrists with a gash across my chest. Confused, tired, angry and afraid. But why? What happened? Alone without a crew; my crew. Where is the hurricane? Baffled, drained, steamed and feared. No more hurricane. Loss of crew. I sail coast to coast; solitary. Not even a bird with an eye patch to keep me sane. As blood rusts my sword, I swear to never abandon my ship. The breeze blows throughout my uncombed hair. Air stinging the mud and blood on my face; only to allow scar tissue to build up. With Arms half amputated, I reach to the ground for my rusting sword. I place it to my throat. A I look out in front of me, I see nothing. Nothing but a clear sky and land. Slowly the sword begins to slip. Land home.
