We Were All Once A Child When I was a child Crazy, running a wild I had a very large imagination Of a completely different civilization With princesses, princes, kings, and queens Everyone lived "Happily Ever After" by all means And as I grew older The world around me became colder The things I once dreamt about Seemed to no longer play out As they once had when I was a little child Who never did anything but smile But now I am mostly grown I know there are few thrones To fit the perfect world I would create Where everyone had a happy fate Oh, I wish I could go back To that place where nothing lacks We were all once a child Crazy, running, and wild Most had a secret place With many dreams to chase Once children become grown They dream of going back to a place once well-known
