Monstrous Tension She is so monstrous in the half-moonlight Glowering, pock-marked, belly swollen from the latest gruesome feast. But is it the#moonwhich makes this monster snarl? Or is it the ignorance and unkindness of others Which perpetuates the myth and then causes the reality? Was this hideous creature once a fluffy mammal, and a herbivore at that? Bitten too many times by pup and mate, She seeks peace but finds only anger and hatred. She is so monstrous in the half-moonlight.
