Heart Of Sleep Sitting upon a withering ledge. Looking out from the corroded edge. A single beat from the heart of sleep. Rings out from the desolate shore. Upon a land that is no more. A simple voice with in the beat. Ringing out from the endless sleep. I can explain what it rang. But thinking back I heard it sang Dying swiftly within the beat. Slowly falling out to sea. As the heart of sleep dies with me.
