It Had To Be Real: Chapter 1 It was the summer after high school when I went to the second party I had ever been to (the first party I went to was last New Years Eve when I lost my virginity in the bed of Connors truck.) My friend June invited me to her boyfriends friends party so I went straight there after work. I got there and everyone was really nice. Riley, one of the guys who lived there, came up to me. "Hey, I'm Riley." "Hi, I'm Mila." I said shyly "Would you like me to make you a drink?" He asked, trying to make conversation. "Umm...do you have beer?" I asked awkwardly "Yeah in the fridge," he said as he pointed to the fridge behind me, "help yourself," he added as he walked away. I opened the fridge and pulled out a can of Budweiser. I opened it and took a sip as I looked around the party for the first time since I had walked in. That's when I saw him. My dream guy: tan skin, buff arms, perfectly straight teeth that were pearly white, and with the most beautiful laugh I had ever heard. I looked over to June, "I call dibs on that one" I said softly as I pointed my eyes toward him. "Yeah right, he has a girlfriend" she said while laughing. I quickly looked his direction to see him kissing a gorgeous blonde girl. I didn't rule him out though, I merely pushed it to the back of my mind.
