Its tiny limbs splattered across the concrete; I thought it was kinda cool. This is an apology to the rabbit I killed in my teens. Its disappearance left my sister upset; a bloody corpse haunted her dreams. This is an apology to the kid I killed aged twenty-four. It stared at me with bright blue eyes; even when it could see no more. This is an apology; to the man I killed last week. Its throat slit open, gaping wide; as if about to speak. This is an apology; to you, my dear friend. You've heard the beginning of this tale; but will never hear its end.
