Arriving To The Unknown (The Story Of Jack Wills) (my first story, so please tell me if it's good or not) I don't know why it happened to me, I don't know what I did to deserve this. But, what I do know is that it should never of happened. I was being stupid, I was showing off. Now I'm here, this world unknown to me. I can still hear, feel and smell, but I can't move and everything's black. This is all I can recall, of the events that happened that, unfortunate night. I'll start off with the basics. My name is Jack, I'm fifteen. My friend and I weren't supposed to go to the club, we knew that. But it seemed fun, I wanted to have a drink, see what it was like. It was all going good. I got talking to people, made friends. Except Tom, my best friend, was acting strange, he wasn't his usual self. He finally got up, first time in hours, "Jack, I need to go home. This doesn't feel right, going against my parents like this, I'm going." He went to walk away, I should have let him just call his dad and go. But I couldn't resist getting involved. "No wait!" I shouted over the pounding of the music, "Just let me say goodbye and I'll walk back with you." I said my goodbyes and we left, onto the calm, quiet streets. There was no conversation, it felt awkward. We were best friends, but it felt like we were slowly being dragged apart. Two friends, becoming strangers. We were going the safe, but long way. I thought I knew a short cut so we went. I was dragging Tom through narrow alley ways, back lanes, dark streets. Until a car stopped next to us. It was James and Kyle, I suppose you could say they were the 'bad boys' in my year at school. They offered us a lift home in their car, an old wreck of red, rusty paint that stank of alcohol. But as it was late and dark and I accepted the lift, I didn't want to seem rude. However, Tom was hesitant, he said he felt unsafe round this area and this would've just made it worse. But me being me, I persuaded him to come. We jumped in and buckled up for the short journey ahead. Sat in the back, I knew something was up. James was driving, he was speeding towards a red light. "Stop! Stop, now! You're going to kill us all!" screamed Kyle, but James ignored him. He carried on full speed. It was almost as if he was possessed. He was ignoring us all screaming for our lives, he just looked forward without a care and drove straight ahead. James drove straight through the red light. We smashed, head on, right into a Range Rover. Everything went silent, almost as if my #life had paused in that moment. We had landed on the roof, upside-down. I tried to scream, I tried to cry, I couldn't. I shook frantically, trying to unbuckle myself, trying to set myself free. It was useless. The car was #lifeless, no screams, no cries, no movement. So, I just laid there and listened to the sirens around me, listening to them approach the deadly scene of the crash. A young woman screamed "Look the car's on fire, quick get them out, help them!" From then I knew I was in trouble, the fire caught up to the petrol tank. Everything went quiet and a flash of white covered my vision. Next thing I knew, I woke up here. Woke up into these unknown surroundings, everything foreign to me as I have no idea where I am. All I can hear is the buzz of the air conditioning, and slight footsteps in the background. But all is dark and I can't see, everything is just black. I should never have gone to that club. I should never have gotten into that car. I should never have forced Tom to come. And now, I feel terrible! This is my story. The story of Jack Wills. The story that should never of happened.
