I'm in a dark room. the walls are a dark gray, and the floor is concrete. There are two mats on the floor, the kind you find in a gym. No windows, there is a solid steel door at the far end of the room, which is possibly ten by fourteen feet wide. "There's another person in the room. A man, a kid maybe. Probably around a mature sixteen or a young eighteen. He has dark brown hair, stunning baby blue eyes, and full red lips. Though, he also has a deep cut on his forehead, bruises on both of his eyes, and strangulation marks on his neck. I don't recognize him. I can't remember how I got here, or who I am. Maybe I should ask?" I remember thinking. "Where am I?" I asked the boy. "Illiana?" He said, like a question, but I think he was more stating it. "Is that my name?" "Yes." He laughed bitterly. "What?" I said sharply. "Nothing, it's just funny, I've known you my whole #life, and now you've asked me your name, this makes it the seventh time." "Wha-" "Today." He grumbled. "Well I'm sorry!" "It's not your fault." He sighed. The boy wiped a tear off my cheek, and held my face in his hands gently. "You relies I don't know who you are right?" "Yeah, but your memory has been resetting all night, I normally only have about five minutes." "Sorry, I'm gonna try and sleep now, before I go may I have your name?" "Travis. " "Goodnight Travis." "It's morning, I think." "Well, good morning then." I put my head down on the mat. "I love you, good bye." I remember him mumbling before I fell asleep. TRAVIS POV Iliana laid at a bundle on her side of the mat, when the tray which held are food was scratched through the door. If you think nails on a chalkboard is bad, listen to metal on concrete! Today we were given two pieces of bread, and four pieces of cheese. "Why don't you face me like a real man!" I screamed as I punched and kicked the wall. A note was pushed through the door: When you were sleeping I left you a present in the left corner. I turned around and saw a white pitcher with four plastic cups. My mouth watering I raced up to it, and drank two cups full before remembering Iliana and waking her. I placed my lips on the side of her face, "Illiana." I cooed. She sat up with a start and I gasped. Her face always made me gasp. She was breathtakingly beautiful-is, and now... Her hair was in brown clumps, as she tried to tie it up with a rubber and, just over shoulder length. Her nose was now blue, as it was broken (we think) when she was ran into the wall a few days back. Her lips were still full and red, but the color was from the blood she was spitting up. Even if she looked as she did then, I'd still love her, and she'd still take my breath away. "T-travis?" Illiana asked, pointing to me. I nodded. "What's going on? Weren't we just in the park?" She laughed. "Skipping math!" My face masked horror, She had her memory back of before the accident but not the accident itself. Illiana gasped, "What happened to your face!" She burst. "Ugh, skiing." I lied. "Really? In July? Really Travis, don't lie to me!" "Do you know where we are?" I diverted her question. "Well, no. In your basement?" She gasped and looked around. "Is this where your cuts are from?" "Have some water." I handed her a cup. She sipped at it without taking her eyes off of my face. "Travis," Illiana mumbled. "Tell me the truth." *Chapter Two* TRAVIS POV "Let me just get this straight, " Illiana spoke, her voice quavering. "We skipped a class, in the second semester of our senior year, like we almost always do during math. And some guy with gun pushed me into his car?" I nodded. "Then how'd you get in here?" "I guess, I followed you..." My voice trailed off. "And, the bruises?" "At about seven o'clock, he has," I swallowed, but the lump in my throat wouldn't budge. "fun with you." Illiana lifted her shirt. Se gasped as she traced the prominent bruises%
