PROLOGUE It is said, That by a young werewolves 18th birthday their wolf will not only reach maturity, but also be drawn to a certain place and time. In which this will provide inner peace within their wolf and take their rightful place within their pack, baring in mind their lineage. It is also said that every full mom since then, they are drawn back to the same place until they find their one true mate. Until then they will never be whole nor completely happy. They will also never fully become who they're destined to be. Nico, the ever loving pain in his mother's side, is adamant and eager to find his mate. It is beginning to drive him crazy! Being the "rightful alpha" he must take his place. His father, the original alpha of the Midnight Fall pack was unfortunately challenged. This act of betrayal set Nico into action and successfully claimed the 'throne'. Without his mate made it harder for him to control and nurture his pack the way intended but he became stronger in that sense and exceeded expectations. After doing so his road wasn't an easy one, many challengers arose and where tactfully thwarted away. He was becoming an extremely formidable alpha. One he thought his father would be proud of, despite the lack of mate. weighing heavy on his mind was the emptiness he felt inside. He was almost convinced his mate didn't exist and he would be doomed to live his #life alone and broken. his pack brothers all had mates and seemed so happy. Nico feared everyday that the chances of finding his mate grew slim to none. His hope was fading and in turn weighed heavy on his mother's heart. Rayna, was a free spirit, and some might even be so bold a to say stubborn. Her father knowing whoever her mate would be had to be stronger then she was, or at the very least, patient. Being a headstrong seventeen year old was trying his patients. he had enough to deal with being alpha of one the largest packs in Whitesprings. As unconventional as it sounded, he was determined Rayna was going to lead it when he was gone. He honestly hope that she would find a mate that would be dominant enough to take over.
