Mixed Sentiments On Writing #poems To write #poems can be a heck of a job; With rhythms, imagery, sounds, formats, themes, Meters, rhymes, and voices to take care of, It's not half as easy as it may seem. Yet, the wretched brainwork this task demands Offers serenity amidst madness; And through the process, one may understand Finally -- the reasons for his sadness. Through this toil of mind I have found my peace, Which was once in my worries, buried deep. And in this place where woes only increase, Such reflection gives the head a clean sweep. Despite how hard writing #poems can be, It's one nice painkiller for my misery.
