Becoming. >7< Green walls, brown wooded furniture. A bed with elegant, grey covers, bookshelf, full mirror, and wardrobe. "It's perfect." Jem said. "Theres clothes i. The wardrobe... I'll give you a bit of time to adjust." Wyatt said, quietly leaving the room. She heard his footsteps quietly head down the hall. She exhaled, walking around the room. She ached to wrap her arms around wyatt. He was so... Good. Genuine. She had learned that he was originally born in England, living with his aunt. His father was a drunk, who he never knew, and his mother died giving birth to him. At sixteen, his aunt made him run out for groceries, and he found himself screaming in a pool of his own blood in a dark alley. He called the other vampires "rogues". Which is the kind that bit him. But Phantos, the head vampire of their clan, found him, and took him in. Aubrey... Where the hell was she? Should she phone her? Poor Theresa... Her fantasy books she adored were right. When you're in the world of supernatural, there's no way out. She knew she'd never see her family... Theresa would never know what happened to her daughter. She flopped on her bed, staring at the ceiling. What happens now? Where's Aubrey? She longed for her best friend.. She laid on her bed for half an hour, studying every little detail on the ceiling. The door opened. "Jem?" It was wyatt. "Mm?" She muttered. He sat on the bed. "Whats up?" Jem exhaled. "I just.. Miss her." He moved a little closer, reading her face. "Aubrey?" Jem nodded. He studied her face for a moment, unsure of what to say. "Jem.. I don't know. I don't know how to fix it. She's not one of us. She's rogue. Please don't light me up." Jem laughed lightly, her eyes still fixed on the ceiling. "You thirsty? It's been a few hours, and fledglings are hungry all the time." "Starving." Jem said, realizing how hollow her stomach felt. Her throat burned lightly. He held out a hand. Jem stood up, sliding her palm into his. He opened the window, frowning. "What? What is it?" "Someone... We have visitors." Jem looked for herself. A slender figure with dark hair was in the forest edge. Aubrey. "Aubrey?!?" She hollered, leaping out the window, bolting across the field. "Jem?!? Oh Jem!" She said, bolting toward her, flinging her arms around her. Jem laughed, happiness filled her system. Aubrey looked at her. "Jem! You're so.. You're so.. Perfect!" Jem laughed, looking at aubrey. Absolutely flawless. "So are you!" Wyatt slowly approached the two, standing behind Jem. Aubrey looked at him. "Who's this?" "Uh, Aubrey this is wyatt." "Hi." She said. He nodded. A dark figure approached the shadows. Jem knew who that was. She backed up to Wyatt's side. He was the only thing that made her feel safe... Secure.. "You." Jem growled. He smirked. "Me. It's Damian by the way." Wyatt tensed. "This isn't your land." Wyatt said. "I came to see Jem." Aubrey said, searching wyatt's face. "I told you it's too late. Look at the silver glint in her eyes. A few more sips and she'll be like#moonshine here." Damian said, looking at Wyatt bitterly. "Jem, come." Jem said nothing. "Let's go Jem." Something inside her screamed no. She felt attached to Wyatt. She liked not having to hurt people. "Aubrey.. Come here." "I've picked my place. You're totally free, no rules. And human blood... Mmm.." "You killed a human?!?" "You haven't?!?" "Aubrey! You killed a person?" "It's what we do. These kids refuse to accept themselves. Thinking they can be "good"." Damian spat. Wyatt looked down at Jem. "Where are you going?"
