Night Sky We sat there underneath the stars Staring into the black That's when you showed me your scars And I showed you mine We were open with each other I told you about abuse You about the death of your brother We sat there in the night and sobbed Leaning on each other Knowing about the things we were robbed But we were together I wish we could have stayed like that forever But years have past It shouldn't have happened, not ever I was suppose to go first I couldn't have known, it just all happened so fast Yet so painfully slow I like to think you're in the night sky, big and vast The sky we fell in love under The same sky that binds me and you Even in your passing Now I just wish I said I love you too
