Suicide Last week my cousin tried to commit suicide. This is my #poem for him, because we aren't that close, but were still family and I love him: I remember the smiles, The happy laughs of summer. The water fights in the park, Each telling off by our parents for wet clothes. I remember you growing, Suddenly towering above everyone. You were always in your room, Always with a new girlfriend. I remember your help, When I was teased at school. You always helped me, And now... And now I remember this, The slashes on your wrists; The blood pouring down your arms, The attempt that didn't end it. <3
