Scarred The door slammed shut and i knew i would never see him again. Standing helplessly on the scarred pavement i watched as the car drove away, sinking into the mass of vehicles that flooded the road. Being only a witness as my #life-long companion left me standing in the dirt, the overwhelming feeling of loss resonating through me. "This is it" i thought to myself as i walked away, looking back only to catch a glimpse of the black car disappearing into the distance. "This is it"
