Chapter One;Laura! I woke to the sound of my alarm clock I pushed the snooze button and fell heavily back to sleep. Five minutes later my uncle Val turned on the light roaring my name "Laura!" I turned on my side I didn't want to get up. "Laura, it's time to wake up" I pull the sheets over my head "Five more minutes" I moaned. "No more, you're going to be late" I shot up instantly I had completely forgotten I was starting East High for the first time today. I sprinted out of bed and ran to the bathroom Uncle Val chuckled as he turned the light off and left. I quickly jumped in the shower and thought to myself what it's going to be like starting a new place, a new start! I turned the shower off and headed back to my room with nothing but a towel on I walked towards my wardrobe I picked out a white pleated skirt with black tights and a light pink sweater with back converse. I pulled the sweater over my head and altered my skirt and slipped into my shoes. I dried my hair with a Red Nicki Clarke hairdryer I pulled it to one side I looked in the mirror it looked black and boring. I took care with my makeup, I couldn't smudge it today. I closed one eye, applied eyeliner to one side and then the other;then did the same to the other eye. I applied a dark shade of pink to my lips. "Laura" Uncle Val shouted. I sighed as I took one more glance in the mirror. I grabbed my white iPhone and went upstairs. The bedrooms are downstairs in my house, My family hates the light everything's dark in the house, We have the blinds closed at all times, The furniture is pretty basic. Black leather sofa, Black Flats screen TV, Dark Wooden bookcases. The lights were dimmed. The heating was on full we feel the cold air quite easy. Uncle Val was waiting in the kitchen. "Laura, are you ready?" I nodded in agreement! "Firstly, you must talk to your parents" He held out his phone I took it with ease. "Hello?" A voice spoke back. "Laura, for gods sake will you speak clearer!" My dad boomed. "I'm sorry." I replied back. "You're mother would like a word." "Hello darling." My mums high maintained. And my dads got very high standards, perfect match right?.. "Hi mum" I mumbled. "Are you prepared?" She spoke etiquette. "Yes, I'm so excited mum. I'm nervous at the same time but I cannot- "That's good darling, tartar I've got to go. You're farther sends his love." She cut me off and she hanged up. I wasn't angry more disappointed but you get used to it. It's happened ever since I was a little girl. My parents have never been around always carting my off to live with some ancestor of mine who I haven't even heard of. Uncle Val stopped that he said he would look after me; he's my dads brother and he's so kind even if he lives a strange #life. My disappointment must of been showing "Cheer up Lala, big say ahead of you." I smiled and tired to look sincere. Uncle Val opened the door "c'mon lets go." We walked down some steps and then entered the garage. The Black BMW was facing towards us. Val unlocked the car and I climbed in. I picked a radio station and Ke$ha started playing. I adore her so much! Uncle Val climbed in the car and started it up "You can turn this crap of!" He said jokingly. We both laughed. He pulled the car out of the garage and onto the cul-de-sac where we lived. The sun was bright, I suppose it was going to be a good day.
