I woke up to hear screaming, crying and yelling, I put on my dressing gown and went downstairs. Mum was being taken away by the police! "what's....what's happening!! Mum!" I yelled, a police officer came over to me, "your mummy has been a bad lady sweetie, she's been dealing with naughty things and she's been hurting you hasn't she sweetie?" she looked at my black and blue arms and legs, "no...no, mum wouldn't do anything like that!
