Sneaking Out The creak of the floor, The crack in the door. A gap in the curtains, Don't make a sound- I am determined. Don't wake the house, Be as quiet as a mouse. Parents are sleeping, Not long until the alarm clock will be beeping. Pass the dog without it hearing, Freedom is what I'm yearning. Don't drop your shoes on the way, Oh my goodness what would my parents say?! Unlock the lock and get out the door, Sweat seems to be pouring off me and onto the floor. Only a few more steps to go, And hopefully my parents would never know. Creeping out without a sound, It's very difficult with so many objects around. But later on I have to get back in, It will be difficult but it will only take me a min.
