Short Story Contest Hi everyone, I'm running a short story contest on my author website and I wanted to make sure everyone on opuss had a chance to enter. It can be any genre, save for erotica. I can't put that on my website. It should be between 2,000 and 5,000 words. You can enter more than one story as well. The deadline is March 31 And the winner will be announced on April 5. All entries should be emailed to sknhammerstone@gmail.com with the subject "short story submission". The winner will be featured on my website, twitter, and Facebook. Any questions can be sent to sknhammerstone@gmail.com with subject "contest question" Thank you and good luck

I will be publishing the winner on my blog and website as a featured post with links to the winners blog, twitter, Facebook etc. the others will most likely not end up on my site. However; if I like one that isn't the winner, I still might post it later (I will request permission from the author of the short story of course) I won't be taking any of your rights. Feel free to enter it on other contests or websites.

I post the winner on my website as a featured post (links to their twitter, blog, etc. will be included) as for the others, I might post them at a later date with the author's permission. I don't keep any writes for your stories, even the winner. They are yours. You can do whatever you like with them. Put them in other contests, publish them, submit them to other blogs. I gain no rights to your stories.

As long as its close, it should be fine. I'm not too picky when it comes to that. If you think it's within a thousand words of the guidelines, go ahead and enter it

@sknhammerstone Thanks. My iPod is being tricky and won't let me edit it, though, and when I wrote it, there was no capitals and a lot of spellibg mistakes. I'll still enter it, but it needs fixed a little.

I judge more on content. If there are errors on the winning entry, I will probably edit them and discuss them with the author before I post it
