Alone Tears burn my eyes, As I cry for you. My throat scratchy and hoarse, As I call for you. I don't think you would leave. After all you did say forever and always. I guess that was just another lie. Like much of everything else I thought to be true. I'm alone. Cut off from you and the rest of the world. My nerves shot and my heart shattered. I guess you didn't understand how much you meant. You were my best friend, my lover. You were all I needed, And now you are gone... Leaving me alone.
